Nothing on a chilly day comforts as much as a bowl or cup of Tradition Chicken Noodle Soup.
6 cups Chicken stock or use homemade recipe, If you don’t have any chicken stock on hand. Use 5-6 chicken flavored bullion cubes.
1 each skinless boneless chicken breast, boil for 30 minutes, drain. then cube or shredded
1/2 cup onion, diced
1/2 cup carrots, washed, peeled and sliced
1/2 cup celery, washed, sliced or sliced
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon ground garlic
1/4 teaspoon ground thyme or (1/2 tsp. dried leaves)
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon salt, optional or season to taste
1/4 pound spaghetti noodles, broken in half
1. In large stock pot add stock, chicken, vegetables and seasoning.
2. Cook on medium heat 20 minutes, then lower to low and cook an addition 35-45 minutes.
3. Add in spaghetti noodles and raise heat to medium and cook until noodles are tender.
