The fruit that thinks it’s a vegetable. Try this deliciously sweet side with your next meal.
(1 plantain will yield about 2-3 1/2 cup servings)
1 plantain, peeled and sliced
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 teaspoon oil
1 teaspoon brown sugar

1. In medium skillet on medium heat add butter and oil until bubbling hot. Do not burn
2. Add plantain slices and cook until golden and flip until opposite side is golden.
3. Slightly lower heat. Sprinkle with brown sugar, flip and continue cooking another 3-4 minutes stirring occasionally to avoid burning.
4. Serve and enjoy!
