Let the family think you worked hours in the kitchen when in fact you had time to relax with this simple Slow Cooker Corned Beef and Cabbage recipe.
2 Pounds Corned Beef W/ Seasoning Packet (No packet, get seasoning mix here)
4 Each Red Bliss Potatoes, Scrubbed and cut in half or cut Larger ones in quarters
1 1/2 Cups Baby Carrots
3 Cups Chicken Broth or Water (using Chicken Broth Will Boost Flavor)
1/2 Each Head of Cabbage, Washed and sliced thick keeping part of the stem intact to hold leaves together
1 Each Onion, peeled, cut in half and sliced 1/4″ thick
6 Each Whole Cloves
1 Tablespoon Butter, unsalted
Salt & Pepper to taste.

1. Place potatoes, carrots and onions in crock pot. Add broth/water and then place corned beef brisket on top.
2. Sprinkle top of brisket with the season packet and cook on high for 5 hours or until internal brisket temperature reaches 160 degrees.
3. When done transfer brisket to a cutting board and let rest 5 minutes before carving thinly against the grain and serve.
4. CABBAGE: 25 minutes before brisket is done, bring 6 cups of water, butter, and cloves to a boil in a large stockpot. Add cabbage chunks and cook about 15 minutes or until tender.
