This easy spread is a refreshing treat for cucumber sandwiches or use as a dip for vegetables, pretzels, crackers and chips.
1/2 Package Cream Cheese (8 Oz.), softened
2 Tablespoons Fresh Dill, chopped
1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice, or juice of a 1/4 lemon
Salt and Pepper, Optional

1. In a small mixing bowl add softened cream cheese and whip for 1 minute.
2. Then add in dill and lemon juice, salt and pepper if desired and whip until well blended.
For Tea Sandwiches: Slice crust off bread and slather a layer of spread on each side. Thinly slice up a cucumber, peeled or unpeeled your choice. On one side overlap a thin layer of cucumbers. Top with other slice and cut sandwich into quarters making triangles or square for little sandwiches. Top with a chunk of cucumber stabbed with a toothpick.
